Ceramic fiber textiles are made of alumina-silica ceramic fibers containing 47% alumina and 53% silica. The highest temperature normally used for this material is 2300℉ (1260℃). Ceramic fiber textiles do contain about 15% organic carriers, which help form and manufacture. These will burn at a temperature of 750℉(400℃). Ceramic fiber textiles do not contain asbestos and crystalline silica, also known as free silica. Luyangwool® Ceramic fiber textiles can also contain reinforced inserts of Inconel or continuous glass fiber filaments to increase handling strength during installation and enhance fiber durability. The temperature rating of Inconel reinforced material is 2000℉ (1093℃) and that of glass fiber reinforced material is 1200F℉(649℃).
Ceramic fiber cloth, ceramic fiber belt and ceramic fiber sleeve rope are very strong and soft fabrics. Inconel wires and glass fiber filaments are incorporated into the yarn to increase the tensile strength of the fabric. Typical applications of textiles include gaskets, seals, pipe wrapping, furnaces and welded curtains.
Ceramic fiber Round and square ceramic fiber ropes are manufactured by over weaving around the ceramic fiber core to maximize resistance to mechanical abuse. In addition to their superior strength, circular and square fabrics also show minimal dispersion when cut. The density range was 33-36 PCF.
Ceramic fiber twisted rope is formed by multi aluminosilicate fiber rope. We can customize the ceramic fiber rope you need. For example, if you need a dense 9-layer rope or inconel mesh cover, please contact us.
Ceramic fiber gasket is made according to the customer's requirements. These gaskets are available in single or double ball or single or double tailed. Rated temperature up to 2300℉, melting point 3200℉.
Excellent chemical stability and resistance, (except hydrofluoric acid and phosphoric acid or concentrated alkali)
Excellent thermal shock and corrosion resistance
Excellent antioxidant and reducing properties.
If it is wet by water or steam, its thermal properties can be completely restored after drying.
